SPIN A GOOD YARN
'The object of the game is to continuously tell an interesting story or “yarn” without breaks (of no more than a three seconds) between thoughts as entertainingly as possible to accumulate money every ten seconds on a Money Clock by just being able to…
“Spin a Good Yarn”!
Four contestants will each be given a turn to try to advance to future rounds by continually creating and spinning their yarn to the approval of the four celebrity “buzzer ready” judges and accumulate as much time and money as possible during their turn.
To start a turn, each contestant will receive a random selection of a place, an item and a famous name that must be used in their initial first 30-seconds in their storytelling of the yarn they attempt to ad lib and spin!
At the 30-second mark, the other 3 three contestants will have the opportunity to each place three “Word Obstacles”, alternating in their selection at 30 second intervals. This will be a huge, comical distraction in an attempt to disrupt the flow of a decent yarn by their opponent before the buzzer itchy judges! The total of 9 Word Obstacles will stay on the board and must be incorporated in the current contestant’s creative, quick storytelling task of spinning their tale to the delight (and approval) of the judges!
The Money Clock will continue to accumulate until the last of the four judges buzz them out. The buzz will come due to obvious lack of creativity, storytelling, interest, drama or humor (or hesitation) in spinning their yarn. The “yarn” must be a coherent and entertaining storytelling effort to avoid elimination from the game by the quick hands of the celebrity judges who wish to be impressed.
At that point-in time of a final elimination buzz, the clock will stop, and the prize money will be calculated based on the increments of time the contestant was able to keep their yarn alive!
This visually displayed Money Clock (See below) will excitingly show the acceleration of the increments of money awarded in 10-second intervals, up to a maximum of three minutes or a total of 18 increment levels over the 3-minute maximum period of time...

The money keeps rolling in as long as the yarn keeps rolling on and at least one of the four judges still shows interest and keeps away from the dreaded final buzzer!
A contestant’s goal is to be able to be one of the final top two remaining contestants and to participate in a final round and the Big Spin Yarn Finale and be crowned as the last person “Spinning”!
In the event of a tie with the last two contestants going the full distance, words from of the “Word Board” will continuously roll out every 10 seconds to provide a very challenging and difficult elimination process to see which contestant can last the longest with their “yarn spinning”!
(Regarding the selection of the three initial categories, a place, a person and an object, they will be selected through a random “computerized selection apparatus“, from a board with a dozens of possible places, persons and objects.)
